JUST IN: Aircraft Guts Fire In Lagos Airport

There was panic at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos on Friday as fire gutted an aircraft belonging to Overland Airways ATR.

It was learnt that the fire outbreak occurred while the aircraft was being serviced.

Confirming the incident was the spokesperson of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Henrietta Yakubu, who however stated that no life was lost.

The fire is currently being put out by firefighters at scene.
