Lagos Ranks Third Most Stressful City In The World

Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city, is the third most stressful city in the world, according to a new study by UK-based Zipjet.

Zipjet, a drycleaning and laundry service based in London, also ranked Baghdad, capital of Iraq and Kabul, Afghanistan capital, as the most stressful city overall and second most stressful respectively.

Some of the factors considered were traffic levels, infrastructure, pollution levels, finance, citizens’ wellbeing, public transport, percentage of green spaces, financial status of citizens including debt levels, physical and mental health, and the hours of sunlight the city gets per year.

No African city made the top ten most stress-free cities, while German cities dominate the list.
