Man Who Plotted To Assassinate Rich Parents And Inherit Their Wealth Arrested

Police in Russia have arrested a 22-year-old man who planned to assassinate his wealthy parents and his younger sister in order to inherit the family wealth.

The plot was foiled when the suspect unknowingly contracted an undercover Police officer posing as a contract killer to carry out the heinous act of killing his father, mother and his 10-year-old sister.

After agreeing a fee of 38,000 Pounds, an equivalent of N20,000,000 Naira with the under-cover Police officer, the suspect gave details of the residence where his family resides, with location of security cameras and how to evade the guard dogs.

The Police contacted the suspect’s parents who became devastated when they were informed of their son’s plan. In an effort to nail the suspect, The Police arranged with the parents to fake their own murder, staging a murder scene in the family home with fake blood gushing out of a fake wound.

The under-cover Police officer who posed as an assassin, arranged a meeting with the suspect inside a car with photographs of his “slain parents”.

Upon seeing the pictures, the suspect was happy the plot has gone according to plan and promised to pay the agreed fee to the under-cover Police officer he believed was an assassin when he has collected his parent’s inheritance.

Having gotten enough evidence to send the man to prison, the Police swiftly arrested the man. Upon his arrest, he made confessional statement that he had previously tried to kill the parents twice.

‘I had been planning it for several months. I’m so done with them, they didn’t understand me, so I found a contract killer’, he said.

According to a Police source: ‘He wanted to get rid of parents because they were not giving him money,’

‘Before looking for a killer he tried to get of his relatives twice. He looking on the internet to find out how to carry out the murders. ‘The criminal wanted to put pills in the kettle to poison his parents but his father found out something was wrong. ‘Then the son planned to break a thermometer in his parents’ car so that they were poisoned with mercury vapours. But he got cold feet.’

The suspect risks 15 years in jail if convicted of conspiracy to kill his sibling, his mother and his father who owns a school, a large house, cars and bank savings that would have been inherited by the suspect.
