Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in Portugal’s dramatic 3-3 draw against Spain on Friday to match Hungarian great Ferenc Puskas as Europe’s record top scorer with 84 goals.

Five goals has been enough to win the golden boot in recent years, so a further goal or two for Ronaldo would set him well on the way.

The Portuguese is now only behind Ali Daei of Iran, on 109 goals, in the global all-time scoring charts.

Morocco, which still have a game left at the tournament, are playing at the World Cup for the first time in 20 years.
