Mother of Taraba State Deputy Governor Kidnapped By Gunmen
Hajiya Belli Manu, mother of the deputy governor of Taraba state, Haruna Manu has been kidnapped.
She was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen at about 9.30pm on Monday at her residence in Bakin Kasuwa area of Mutum Biyu town, 70 kilometres from Jalingo, the state capital.
According to the Daily Trust, the kidnappers said to be about ten killed a middle aged man at the front of the deputy governor’s family house before taking the woman away.
