NAICOM Management Locked Inside Office By Protesting Union

Some protesting union members have on Friday locked the management staff of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) in their offices, preventing them from coming out.

It was not immediately clear why the union members picketed the Abuja head of NAICOM, but there are indications that the development may not be unconnected with the failure of the government to release allocation for overheads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government MDAs.
