New GMD NNPC – My Appointment a National Assignment

The new Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu has insisted his appointment as the Head of NNPC is a national assignment and encouraged Nigerians to support him instead of just advertising his appointment on the media.

He disclosed this in a statement by the NNPC, insisting his appointment is a serious national assignment and does not require the nature of gaiety adverts he has seen so far.

Mr Kachikwu who was appointed the GMD of NNPC by President Muhammadu Buhari, appreciated the congratulatory messages he received on his appointment but urged his well-wishers to support him in prayers, as it is essential as he prepares for the task ahead.
