Nigeria Needs A Leader Bereft Of Religious, Tribal, Health Challenges – Junaid Mohammed

Junaid Mohammed, a second republic lawmaker, has once again tackled President Muhammadu Buhari, asking him to perish the thought of seeking a second term in office.

Mohammed said the country does not need a President like Buhari but rather a leader who is bereft of tribal, religious and health challenges.

The elder statesman, who spoke with journalists in Abuja on Friday, further described President Buhari as a “weakling” who has allowed cabals in Aso Rock to hijack his government.

“The cabal under Buhari has virtually taken over the affairs of the country from him and he cannot counterbalance them, a situation that is very dangerous for the Nigerian people and their future.

“As it has emerged, Buhari cannot take firm decisions against the cabal running his government and working for their selfish interest. In the end, the President is always trying to pacify the cabal to the detriment of Nigeria and it is very sad.

“This country therefore needs a competent leader bereft of religious, tribal and health challenges to manage its affairs,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Arewa Youth Forum (AYC) has revealed that a search is ongoing for a possible replacement for President Buhari in 2019.

The northern group is threatening to vote the president out if their demands are not met before next general elections.
