Nigeria U17 Captain May Move To Arsenal For €3.5million

The agent of Nigerian midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has revealed he’s in talks over a move to Arsenal.

Nwakali, who recently admitted he’d love to play for the Gunners, is being chased by Chelsea and Udinese ahead of the January window.

But the player’s agent has revealed there’s also talks with Arsenal over a move to the Emirates Stadium.

‘We have been in touch with Arsenal,’ explained Klay Ekeocha.

‘There has been no feedback [or bid] as yet though.’

Jonathan Barnet’s Stellar Group has informed Diamond Academy Umuahia that the Gunners are ready to meet the central midfielder’s 3.5 million euros

However, it is understood that Arsenal will only offer the Golden Eaglets star a contract should he impress during trials. Nwakali’s bonafide intermediary, Klay Ekeocha, said that he had contacted the Londoners but there was no positive feedback from the club as at late November.

Nwakali was recently the star of the Under-17 World Cup in Chile, where he captained Nigeria to victory and won the Most Valuable Player Award.
