Nigerian Entrepreneur Plans To Rival Uber

Ubi Ekapong Ofem Franklin, an entrepreneur and the Founder of the record label, Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) plans to launch Instant Ryder, a taxi service start-up on April 1, 2018.

In 2017, Franklin launched a start-up called Instant Pickup, an app downloadable on mobile smartphones.

Instant Pick up provides the service of instant home pickup and delivery of laundry. Later on, in 2017, he also launched Instant apartments an online platform that allows for convenient apartment rental across Nigeria.

Ubi plans on launching Instant Ryder, a mobile app to help deliver fast, reliable, round the clock taxi service. Instant Ryder plans to push Uber off the market as they plan on giving riders a more comfortable ride.

The Instant Ryder App would sport features that enable people book taxi rides in advance of the date they plan to take the trip. According to the founder, the vehicles that will be used to run the service would come fitted with good air conditioners, wifi and satellite television to make the ride a more enjoyable and convenient ride.
