Senate Adopts E-Voting System To Confirm New Supreme Court Judges

The Nigerian Senate has adopted the E-Voting System to vote on the confirmation of President Muhammadu Buhari’s nominations of new Supreme Court justices.

The Senate approved the appointments of Justice Eko Ejembi (Benue/North-Central) and Justice Amina Augie (Kebbi/North-West) as Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (SCN) on Tuesday.

The move by the Red Chamber makes it the first time ever it will be adopting the E-voting system to confirm appointments.
