Nigerians Criticize 2016 Budget, #BudgetOfCorruption Trending
A cross section of Nigerians in the social media have continued to react to the disgraceful 2016 budget. The recent reaction may not be unconnected to the heels of the news that the Minister of Health has disowned the budget proposal as submitted by his ministry to the national assembly. He accused budget “rats” in the civil service of being responsible of the disgraceful budget proposal.
But Nigerians are not taken rightly any of the excuses being made by the ruling APC government officials, who promised Change during the 2015 general elections. #BudgetOfCorruption hash tag has been trending on Twitter.
