Nnamdi Azikwe University Post-UTME Screening Postponed

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University has put off its post-UTME screening scheduled for September 16 due to the ongoing strike by the Academic staff union of universities, ASUU.

The university revealed this in a statement on Wednesday by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Emmanuel Ojukwu.

The management of the university has asked candidates seeking admission into institution to keep tabs on its website for information on a new date for the exercise.

“It was shifted because of the current strike action embarked upon by teaching and non-teaching staff, you cannot conduct any examination when the servicing personnel are not available,” Ojukwu said.

“Candidates are requested to regularly visit the school’s website (www.unizik.edu.ng.com) or Nnamdi Azikiwe University Facebook page for information on the new date,” he said.

Similarly, the University of Lagos (UNILAG), it would be recalled, on Wednesday, postponed its post-UTME indefinitely.
