No Bad Blood Between Ubi Franklin And I – Iyanya Dismisses Claims

Nigerian R&B and Afro-pop singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, has denied reports that Lilian Esoro, wife of his business partner/manager, Ubi Franklin is the reason for his split from the Made Men Music Group, MMMG.

This is coming on the heels of reports which made rounds earlier this week that Lilian was the reason the Kukere singer decided to part ways with the MMMG – a record label he co-owned with Ubi Franklin.

“I’ll be launching my new label and new album soon”, Iyanya wrote on his Instagram page on Monday, July 11.

The Afro-pop songster, who stated this on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, asserted that there is no bad blood between himself and Ubi and he has no issues whatsoever with his wife, (Lilian).

Iyanya labelled reports suggesting that his decision to set up his own label stems from a disagreement with Franklin as nothing but “lies”.

“I’m not fighting with Ubi”, he wrote.

“His wife is the best woman in the world for him, she is a good woman. She’s a good cook too. You guys please chill”, Iyanya added.

Ubi Franklin and Lilian got married in October 2015, and are expecting their first child in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, sources close to the duo explained that there’s been some money-fueled disagreements between them, an allegation Iyanya also dismissed.
