No Matter How Big A Thief You’re, Defecting To APC Saves You – Lamido
Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of shielding corrupt politicians who have been switching from other political parties to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in bid to get cover.
While noting that President Buhari is the biggest beneficiary of the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lamido further alleged that the APC leadership has since opened its doors to defecting “corrupt politicians” who are on the radar of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
“Today, no matter how big you are as a thief, if you go to APC, they would accept you, look at those going to APC in the last two to three weeks, these are people who are literally on trial by the EFCC,” Lamido told newsmen in his hometown, Bamaina.

“Maybe because the PDP couldn’t stand up for them, that’s why they are going there or maybe APC has no qualms about fraud by accepting them with the intention of cleaning them,” he added.
