Obasanjo’s Open Letter To Buhari Used To Set Exam Question In UNILORIN

Former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari has been used to set an exam question for 100 level mass communication students at the University of Ilorin.

The former president, in the letter he wrote earlier this year, had advised Buhari to abandon his second term ambition over the failure of his administration to tackle the nation’s challenges.

Obasanjo had further said Buhari “is weak in the knowledge and understanding of the economy,” adding that he can only do well in military matters.

Using the Open letter as guide, the students were asked to analyze the nature and process of communication using Osgood and Gerbner models.
