Osinbajo Arrives Sokoto, To Pay 1-Day Working Visit To Zamfara

Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday arrived at the Sultan Saddik Abubakar III International Airport.

Osinbajo, who was received by governors, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi States, is expected to proceed to Zamfara State for a one day working visit.

He is to commission across the states, projects executed by the Gov. Abdulaziz Yari-led government.

The projects includes the Federal Government road linking Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebbi states which were executed under agreement for repayment by the Federal Government

Other projects to be commissioned include General Hospital and Semi Urban Water Projects in Rini and Gamji communities in Bakura Local Government, Government Girl Science Secondary School Talata-Mafara, Government Girl Day Secondary School, Kwatarkwashi and Danturai Government Day Secondary School Gusau and Bungudu local government areas.

Also to be inaugurated is the School for Handicapped in Gummi Local Government.

Earlier last Saturday, Alhaji Lawal M-Liman, the Chairman of the state government committee for inauguration of government projects told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gusau that Osinbajo’s visit was inline with the celebration of Governor Yari’s Six year anniversary in office.
