Osinbajo, IGP Idris Meet In Aso Rock

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting, which is holding behind closed doors, may not be unconnected to the security situation at the National Assembly.

Earlier today, heavily armed police men and operatives of the Department of State Security blocked the entrance of the National Assembly.

Moments later, Osinbajo fired Director General of the DSS, Lawal Daura, before summoning the police boss.
