Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Monday visited Ondo State as part of his ongoing dialogue with oil-producing communities.

The south-western state makes it the fifth state the Osinbajo has visited in the past one month, after trips to Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Imo States.

The Acting President was scheduled to visit the state last Friday but cancelled the trip due to poor weather condition.

According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, the Vice President was already air-borne on Friday morning when weather reports indicated dusty haze and very poor visibility at the Akure Airport and other alternative airports nearby.

The Vice President is expected to commission the International Events Centre The Dome, a project executed by Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, as he nears his final days as the state’s number one citizen.
