President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on Monday afternoon, had a telephone conversation with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The conversation which occurred at about 3:45pm Nigerian time centered on ways to improve cooperation in the fight against terrorism through provision of necessary equipment.
A statement signed by the presidential spokesperson, said Trump encouraged Buhari to “keep up the good work he is doing’” while commending him “for the efforts made in rescuing 24 of the Chibok Girls”.
