President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has expressed optimism that the Super Eagles will qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

According to the former Delta State FA Chairman, the Eagles have the best set of players in the continent and also a world class coach, which he believes are the major factors that will take the country to Russia in 2018.

He was also upbeat that with the caliber of players that make up the team, the Super eagles can also progress to the last four of the tournament.

“We have a good coach and the best set of players in Africa, and I believe these two factors will help us qualify for Russia 2018.,” Pinnick told Goal.

“My dream is not just to qualify for the World Cup but to reach the last four of the tournament.

“We don’t have all the funds we needed right now but I’m sure the team is currently in a good hands,” he added.
