Real Madrid President To Zidane, ‘You Must Always Win Silverware’
Florentino Perez, Real Madrid president, has charged manager Zinedine Zidane, with the expectation that the club must always win silverware every season.
Speaking to Cadena SER on Thursday, Perez said it is the minimum requirement the club demands from the manager and the players at the end of every season.

He also denied influencing player selection for matches.

“We are in a good moment with great players and a great coach but at Real Madrid, honors must always be earned.
“There are no consultations with Zidane on playing the BBC or not. He plays them or not as he sees fit for the group,” Perez said.

Zinedine Zidane replaced Benitez as Real manager in January 2016. He has since then won two Champions League trophies, the UEFA Super Cup and one La Liga title.
