Record Breaking Real Madrid Are Champions Of Europe

Real Madrid defeated Juventus 4-1 to claim a record 13 UEFA Champions League title at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.

A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo and a goal apiece from Casemiro and Marco Asensio gave Zinedine Zidane’s side a convincing victory over the Italian Champions to become the first team in history to defend the La Duodecima.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Los Blancos in the 20th minute before going on to grab a second – his 600th career goal – in the second half.

Mario Mandzukic equalised seven minutes later with stunning overhead kick, before Casemiro restored the advantage with a well taken shot, deflecting off Sami Khedira in the second half.

Things went from bad to worse for the Old Ladies as Juan Cuadrado was sent off controversially with less than 10 minutesremaining.

The advantage paid off as Asensio came off bench to score Real’s fourth in final minute, after a brilliant assist from Marcelo.
