Revealed: James Ocholi’s Driver Had No Licence

The corps marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, has revealed that the driver of the vehicle where the minister of state for labour and employment, James Ocholi, his wife, and son died, had no driver’s license.

Oyeyemi, who made the revelation while presenting the accident’s Road Traffic Crash Investigation Interim Report to the Federal Executive Council (FEC), on Wednesday at the meeting of the body at the presidential villa, Abuja, further said that the late Ocholi died as a result of over speeding.

According to him, the name of Ocholi’s driver was not found on the data base of FRSC.

He also said Ocholi and his son did not make use of seat belts during the journey.

Meanwhile, the secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), Babachair Lawal, said the funeral rites of the deceased will hold between March 16 and March 18 at the Dekina hometown of the Ocholis in Kogi state.
