Saraki Announces Final Ministerial List, Senate Commences Screening

***Commences ministerial screening

Senate President Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday, read out names of the second batch of ministerial nominees, submitted to him by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari had submitted the final list of ministerial nominees to the Nigerian senate, on Monday.

Below are the names of the final batch of nominees:
1. Hajia Khadija Bukar Ibrahim
2. Omoleye Daramola
3. Prof Anthony Onwuka,
4. Jeffrey Onyema
5. Dan Ali, rtd brigadier-general
6. Barr James Ocholi
7. Zainab Ahmed
8. Okechukwu Enelamah
9. Muhammadu Bello
10. Mustapha Baba
11. Aisha Abubakar
12. Heineken Okpobiri
13. Adamu Adamu (Bauchi)
13. Isaac Adewole
15. Abubakar Bawa

The senate thereafter commenced the ministerial screening. However, only 10 out of Buhari’s 35 nominees will be screened by the senate today.

The nominees are:
1. Udo Udoma
2. Kayode Fayemi
3. Audu Ogbeh
4. Ogbonnaya Onu.
5. Osagie Ehanire
6. Abdulrahman Dambazau
7. Lai Mohammed
8. Amina Mohammed
9. Suleiman Hussaini Adamu
10. Ibrahim U. Jibril

Senator Udo Udoma, who was the first person to be screened, was asked to take a bow and leave, after he had successfully answered questions.

Professor Kayode Fayemi is presently being screened by the senate.
