‘Secret Trial’ Of Boko Haram Suspects Finally Begins

The secret trial of about 1,600 suspected Boko Haram terrorists has finally commenced.

This was according to the BBC, which quoted unnamed sources within Nigeria’s Justice Ministry as saying four judges have begun the said trials.

The Attorney-General, Abubakar Malami, it would be recalled, disclosed last month that the Federal Government had appointed prosecutors to handle the trials.

Malami had said the judges were appointed by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.
