Security Agents Arrest Fayose’s Commissioner, Accountant- General As Gov Declares Presidential Ambition

Security operatives, on Thursday, arrested Commissioner of Finance and Accountant General of Ekiti state while the 2019 presidential declaration of Governor Ayodele Fayose was ongoing in Abuja.

This was according to former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who made the disclosure via his verified Twitter handle (@realFFK).

“Governor Ayodele Fayose declares his intention to run for the presidency today and whilst he was in the hall doing so the security agencies arrested the Commissioner of Finance and Acc. Gen. of his state. Such pettiness!,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.

Governor Fayose, at the declaration, had expressed confidence in his ability to unseat President Muhammadu Buhari from office.

The governor said with his “penchant for defeating incumbents,” ousting the president in 2019 wouldn’t be an exception.

Meanwhile, Prophet Onyekachukwu Okolie of the Lagos based Living Abundance (Mount Zion) Prophetic and Deliverance Ministry has predicted the country’s next president in the next general election to emerge from Yoruba land.
