Siasia Invites 42 Players For Pharaohs Clash

Super Eagles interim manager, Samson Siasia has invited 42-players to camp ahead of Nigeria’s 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Egypt later this month.

The players consist of 22 home based professionals and 20 foreign based players.

The home based players are expected to arrive camp in Abuja on March 6, while their foreign based team-mates are to arrive on or before Sunday March 20.

Nigeria take on Egypt in qualifying Group G on March 25 in Kaduna before the sides meet again in Alexandria four days later.

In addition, Siaisia pleaded with Nigerians to show full support for the team ahead of their crucial encounter against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

He said: I want to passionately appeal to Nigerians, everybody, to show belief in the team and give us total support. It will not be easy, but if we stick together and present a united force to fight this battle, I believe we will triumph.

“I have absolute faith in the players. Nigeria is blessed with so many talented footballers across the world and I know that those we are inviting for this match will give everything for the six points in both matches. Personally, I will give everything that I have to offer for us to win both matches.”
