Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has resigned as the chief coach of the Nigerian national men’s football team.
The former Super Eagles skipper, took to his official twitter handle in the early hours of Friday to disclose the information, citing unpaid wages, contract violations, amongst others as his reason.
“I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to play, captain and coach this great nation of ours, Nigeria,” the 41-year old said via his twitter handle.
“Due to contract violations, lack of support,unpaid wages, benefits to my players, Assistant Coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach.”

The gaffer, has since changed his profile on his social media page to Ex-Chief Coach of the Super Eagles.
He signed a three-year contract with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) in July 2015, to lead the Super Eagles, and since then he has managed fourteen games for the team and lost just two.
