Super Eagles: Yusuf To Sign N60m Annual Contract

Super Eagles chief coach, Salisu Yusuf is expected to put pen to paper on a N5million monthly deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), a federation official has revealed.

According to the official, the former Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach, was to sign the deal before last Saturday’s 2017 AFCON qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo, but the top officials in charge of the deal travelled out of the country for an assignment.

“The NFF president has said he should be in Abuja this week to sign his contract,” the official told AfricanFootball.

Yusuf will act as an assistant to Gernot Rohr, he will also taking charge of the home-based Eagles.

Meanwhile, Rohr is on $47,000 a month salary, after signing a two-year contract with the NFF to be Super Eagles Technical Adviser last month.

He has handpicked three personal assistants to be part of the Eagles backroom staff and they were part of Saturday’s match against Tanzania.
