Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Kill 3 In Benue
No fewer than three persons have died and many others injured after suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Tsokwa village in Logo local government area of Benue state.
Speaking to Channel Television, chairman of the local government, Nyajo Richard, said the attackers stormed the village on Thursday night and started shooting sporadically.
Richard further confirmed that the gunmen razed down houses, with many locals escaping to other nearby villages.
He said the survivors are currently at the local NKST hospital in the local government.
Recall that on January 1, suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Logo killing scores including women and children.
The latest attack comes just days after the military announced a 44-day operation in six north-central states, including Benue.
