Taraba Poll: Supreme Court Upholds Ishaku’s Election

The Supreme Court, on Thursday, upheld the election of Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku, of the People Democratic Party (PDP), affirming the April 11, 2015 governorship election which declared him governor of the state.

In a unanimous judgment, a seven-man panel of Justices of the apex court dismissed the appeal that was filed by Senator Aisha Jumai Alhassan of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
