Tinubu’s Reaction After Ambode’s Wife Begged Him To Support Husband

Bolanle, the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has pleaded with the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over her husband’s re-election bid.

According to reports, Bolanle has approached the former governor of the state to beg him to save her husband’s job.

This occurred in Osun state when she accompanied her husband to Osun State for the All Progressives Congress’ mega rally for the state governorship candidate, Gboyega Oyetola.

It was however learnt that her efforts did not yield any result as Tinubu was said to have “received her cordially and joked with her.”

“At a point, she became emotional despite the fact that many party leaders were there. But Asiwaju (Tinubu) did not give her the answer she desired. He merely treated her with courtesy,” a source added.

Recall that there has been a rift between the governor and Tinubu with the later bypassing the former to endorse Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who obtained his form last Tuesday.
