Japanese automaker, Toyota Motor Corporation, is recalling about 6.5 million of its vehicles worldwide, to rectify a defective power window switch that can overheat and potentially lead to a fire.

According to Toyota, the models includes the Yaris, Corolla, Matrix, Camry, RAV4, Highlander and Tundra.

The recalled vehicles were produced between January 2005 and August 2006, and August 2008 and June 2010, in Japan, also between August 2005 and August 2006, and January 2009 and December 2010, outside Japan.
