U.S Court Grants Dammy Krane Bail

Nigerian singer, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel popularly known as Dammy Krane has now been granted bail, after spending four days behind bars.

This was according to a statement on the Miami Dade County Criminal Justice Online System, which says the singer pleaded not guilty to the charges and demanded for a trial by jury.

The statement also noted that the 25-year-old chose the option of a waiver pre-trial conference.

His court hearing will now come up on June 23, 2017 at 9:15am, after meeting his bail condition of $7,500.

Dammy Krane was arrested on Friday, June 2, 2017, by the police in Miami, Florida for grand theft, credit card and identity fraud.

Krane who was arrested with his accomplice, Gabriel Chikwuebuka, was said to have contacted a private airline, Tap Jets, and used a stolen credit card to give himself a luxury treat on a private jet.

Tap Jets claimed responsibility for handing the singer over to the police tweeting that he attempted to book Tap Jets flight using stolen credit card numbers. They vowed to prosecute him to the full extent of the law.

According to report, Gabriel who claimed to be Dammy Krane’s show promoter filed paperwork, saying that he is indigent while Krane pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Dammy Krane’s mother, Oluwakemi Oshodi, on Monday described her son, as “a good boy.”
