U.S Rapper, Rick Ross Sued Over Alleged Rape

Less than a week after proposing to long-time girlfriend, American rapper William Leonard Roberts, popularly known as Rick Ross is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims she was raped by his affiliate.

The alleged victim, identified only as “Jane Doe” in the suit, says she was at the W Hotel in Los Angeles when Ross and his crew invited her to attend a weed convention. She allegedly rode in a van with several others that included Ross and his agent, Thaddeus “Black” James.

During the drive, the woman says she was given a drink that made her feel dizzy before she eventually blacked out for over two hours.

She charged rape after waking up and realizing her clothing was removed and she had allegedly been assaulted by James.

Rick Ross has been pulled into the fray, because he rode in the van, and since James worked for him, the suit holds the rapper responsible.

The MMG boss released a statement on the rape allegations, denying any knowledge of the reported sexual assault.

“It has been brought to my attention that serious allegations have been made against an independent contractor, whose services I use often,

“While I am not directly involved or implicated, as a man and a father, I take this very seriously. I don’t believe any woman’s safety should be compromised and she should never be forced to do anything outside of her will, regardless of the circumstances.”

He added, “While I personally have no knowledge of the specifics surrounding these allegations, it is my hope that this is rectified quickly and with sensitivity.”

Ross is currently out on bail on aggravated assault and kidnapping charges stemming from a separate incident.
