European football governing body, UEFA has released a 40-man list of nominees for this year’s UEFA Team of the year.

Barcelona’s attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and current world footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo, top the list, while the La Liga club’s dominate the list.

Just four Premier League players – Eden Hazard, Alexis Sanchez, Joe Hart and Kevin De Bruyne have made this year’s cut, with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich seeing six of their players earn a spot.
