UN Security Expert Expected In Lagos For News Express 5th Anniversary Lecture

Ahead of the September 28 News Express 5th Anniversary Lecture, United Nations Security Coordination Officer, Francis T. Okoemu, has confirmed his attendance at the event.

Okoemu joins the likes of Leo Stan Ekeh of Zinox Technologies and Governor Sani Bello of Niger State at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos.

The counter-terrorism expert confirmed his attendance in an email he sent News Express publisher, Isaac Umunna.

Umunna, in a statement on Saturday quoted the security expert as saying, “Yes, I will be in Nigeria for the News Express 5th Anniversary Lecture. It is something I want to be part of because News Express is a paper for which I have great respect.”

Recall that Umunna had earlier named Governor Bello as Guest Speaker and Leo Stan as Chairman for the event.

Bello will be speaking on “National Unity and the Demand for Restructuring — A Governor’s Perspective,” the publisher had said.
