Unknown Gunmen Launch Fresh Attacks On Southern Kaduna, Kill 21

21 persons have been reported dead after unknown gunmen launched series of attacks on three communities in Southern part of Kaduna State.  

Mr. Alex Iya, the Chairman, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna, confirmed 14 persons dead in simultaneous attacks that took place today (Monday) morning in Mifi and Ashim communities.  

This come on the heels of Sunday night’s attack that left 7 persons dead and several injured in Bakin Kogi community of Jema’a Local Government.

Confirming the attacks, Dr. Yakubu Bityong of the Kaduna State House of Assembly said that the assailants had killed and destroyed several properties before the arrival of security operatives.  

According to Bityong, some victims of the attacks include Chayuwai Manti 73, Ezikiel Kanwai 23, Bridget Aba 61, Bridget Samuila 42, Samuila Kuzamam 47,  Mathew Daniel 37, Edward Mathew 10,  Omega Mathew 8, Adam Noga 46, Moses Ndong, 68, Likita Adam 12, Musa John  13, Mboi Waje 14 and Fidelix Kakah.
