The senator representing Kogi west senatorial district at the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has rubbished reports making the rounds that he threatened to beat up and rape his colleague, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Thursday, Melaye said Mrs. Tinubu, who is also the wife of the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has been nursing hatred towards him, as plots by her and her husband to remove “his good friend” Senator Bukola Saraki from his position as senate president has been futile.
While categorically stating that her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not God, Melaye who said that he fears only God almighty, added that Tinubu played no role in his political career so far.
