Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, has challenged his team to take all three points in Sunday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Zambia in Ndola.

The Eagles are currently intensifying training ahead of the vital clash and the 63-year-old has assured that his squad is well equipped to get the better of their Zambian opponent on Sunday.

“We go to Zambia to win,” Rohr said. “It will be difficult because Zambia have a good team and like the three other teams in our group, any one of us could qualify for the World Cup.

“We watched them against Kenya (in an AFCON qualifier last month) and the pitch in Ndola is not good, but it will be the same for both teams.”

Despite injuries plaguing the team, Rohr expressed optimism that the Super Eagles are in good shape ahead of the game, insisting that the injuries will not affect the team’s performance.

“We will be missing Balogun, Victor Moses and Isaac Success, but we’re a team and the other players will have their chance to show their qualities,” he said.

Gernot Rohr’s men were also drawn alongside Algeria and Cameroon, and a win against Zambia in Ndola on Sunday will boost their chances of making it to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
