West Brom Appoint Alan Pardew As New Manager
Alan Pardew has been appointed manager of West Bromwich Albion, after the sacking of former manager Tony Pulis over a week ago.
The club confirmed the 56-year-old who was a former Premier League manager with West Ham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace signed a contract running until 2020 at the Hawthorns a two-and-a-half-year contract.

He will take charge of Saturday’s home match against Crystal Palace.
Alan, who was named both Premier League and LMA Manager of the Year in 2012 said: “I’m thrilled with the opportunity Albion have provided and looking forward to getting to work with what I consider to be a talented group of players.
“The immediate challenge will be to get the results we need to pull ourselves up the table. But I’m aware that while I’m joining one of the great, traditional clubs of English football, it is one determined to go forward in the Premier League.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to play a part in that ambition.”

The 56-year-old becomes Albion’s sixth permanent manager since 2011.
West Brom sit 16th on the English league table but could be overhauled on Wednesday night when they meet Everton.
