WhatsApp For Android Adds New Set Of Emojis To Latest Version
Mobile-messaging app, WhatsApp has added a ton of new emojis in its latest update, version 2.12.372.
The most popular messaging app, had already rolled out these new emojis to their iOS and web clients. Now it’s finally making its way on over to the Android app.
The 2.12.372 which was released on the company’s website comes with a host of weird and wonderful emojis, among them are spider, unicorn, popcorn box, champagne bottle, racing cars, medals, and volleyball among others. The new update also adds a new detective emoji to the facial expression tab.

Also notable are the new tabs, which categorize emojis into sections that include food, sports, and activities.
Flags have been separated from symbols now, hearts have also been moved to the symbols tab, and are no longer included in the people tab. A new tab with travel destinations and places of worship was created and objects tab has new additions like plenty of crossed swords, shopping bags, joystick, a microphone, a funeral urn and a coffin.
The practicality of the WhatsApp update requires that the person you are messaging to also have it installed if you want your emojis to appear on their device, otherwise all they will see are blank squares.
