Sudan, Guinea, Ethiopia Confirm First Cases Of Coronavirus 

Sudan, Guinea and Ethiopia have reported their first cases of coronavirus, thereby raising the toll in the continent to 14.

Ghana, Gabon and Kenya had in the early hours of Friday reported their first cases, with Ghana confirming two cases.

Sudan ministry of health on Friday reported its first case, adding that the infected man in his 50s had died on Thursday in Khartoum. The authorities said he had visited the United Arab Emirates in the first week of March.

Guinea’s Ministry of Health also confirmed the first case of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country on Friday. The authorities said the individual is a Belgian national, and he is currently receiving treatment.

Ethiopia public health institute has also confirmed its first case. According to the mayor of Addis Ababa, the person affected was a Japanese citizen.
