Super Eagles Players Get Official World Cup Squad Numbers

Nigeria’s 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup have been allocated jersey numbers

The number allocation was announced in a video clip published on the Super Eagles’ verified Twitter handle on Monday.

Eagles’ Captain Mikel Obi retains his number 10, Odion Ighalo kept his number nine jersey, Victor Moses was handed number 11 and Ahmed Musa number 7.

Ikechukwu Ezenwa was handed the number 1 shirt as the first-choice goalie, while Francis Uzoho got the shirt number 23, while Leon Balogun and William Troost-Ekong got number six and five respectively.

Other number allocations include Wilfred Ndidi with jersey number 4, Kelechi Iheanacho with number 14, Alex Iwobi has number 18, Elderson Echiejile with number 3, Shehu Abdullahi will wear number 12, Ogenyi Onazi, number 17.
