Super Eagles Unveil 2018 World Cup Kit (PHOTOS)

The Super Eagles have unveiled Nigeria’s new kits for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The new kits launched by Nike in London on Wednesday, sees a reborn of the home kits of the Nigeria ’94 shirt which was worn by the first Nigerian team to qualify for the World Cup in the United States of America.

The home kit comes with eagle wing-inspired black-and-white sleeve and green torso while the away kits boast of the full green strip in a classic fashion.

The ceremony featured a couple of Super Eagles stars, among which includes captain John Obi Mikel, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Nigerian singer Wizkid was also part of the party.

“I can see the players going crazy over this one,” Mikel said.

Expressing excitement over the new jerseys, Ndidi added, “This is cultural”.

Gernot Rohr’s will wear the shirts for the first time on March 23 when they face Poland in a friendly in Warsaw before the commencement of their World Cup campaign against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium on June 16.
