Suspect In Police Net Over Murder Of Top Presidency Official

A suspect linked to the murder of the State House official, Laetitia Dagan has been arrested, the police said on Wednesday.

The name of the suspect was given as Edirin Ohonre.

Dagan was murdered around 11pm on Monday after assailants invaded her residence in Abuja.

Until her murder, she was an assistant director handling administrative matters at the Presidential Villa, officials said.

The suspect is accused of playing a role in the death of Dagan, with the other suspects still at large.

According to the police, Ohonre is cooperating with homicide detectives to unravel the motive for the attack and track down the other conspirators still at large.
