A fresh outbreak of cholera has killed five people, leaving 16 others hospitalised at the Primary Health Centre, Kembu in Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State. Nigeria has been listed among countries with the lowest readiness for epidemic control in Africa. These are countries that have significant gaps in finding, stopping and preventing health threats to its citizens. The Borno State Government had on Wednesday, raised alarm over an outbreak of Cholera in the state.
