Tekno Shuns Danfo Drivers, Releases Jogodo Video Thursday

Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known by his stage name, Tekno, says he will drop the video for his new single ‘Jogodo’ on Thursday.

The development comes on the hills of allegations from veteran musicians, Mad Melon and Mountain Black (Danfo Drivers), who accused the singer of sampling their song without their consent.

Danfo Drivers in an interview with Wazobia TV in Lagos on Sunday said they have come to Lagos to hunt for Tekno and to collect the money/royalties he owes them for sampling their 2008 song ‘Kpolongo’ to make his song Jogodo.

Tekno’s sudden announcement, may not be unconnected to the claims made by the veteran musicians.

Jogodo is Tekno’s newest single which was released about two weeks ago.
