The new FMBN boss is expected to build on the successes of Kumo, who made housing finance a central issue in the nation’s economic development, helped to expand access to mortgage finance and improve housing coverage rate from 25 percent to 40 percent in three years.

It was learnt that the former acting DG, Esin, turned back the hands of reforms Kumo had built in FMBN, bringing down the morale of staff to a record low, which the new helsman is expected to inherit a mess in staff morale and he will continue to build on the success stories of Kumo.
